Get access to a library of media content such as music and video clips by launching the client and entering the online store where you are able to procure over 10 million songs, stream the purchased content, listen to live music, etc. Profile registration is required.

It is important to look at this player, first because users can use it even if they dont have a Zune multimedia player, and second, because everything seems to indicate that Microsoft is devoting most of this work and love that the Zune software to Windows Media Player.

One of the most outstanding developments in the Zune Software 3.0 is the new view of MixView, which is just a visually appealing way to offer recommendations and help us discover new music.

The interface is now more attractive than the Zune 2.5. The window has shadows, the bottom of the player shows an animation that moves to the beat, and what's more interesting debuts a new hearing "Now Playing," which aims to compensate for the lack of displays offering a slideshow elegant and full of visual effects with photos and information about the artist that we are listening.

It has improved what was a major weakness of the previous version of the Zune software, the search for music.

We can also search by choosing an artist or song, then start writing immediately and get results instantly. more

I still have and use my Zune HD 64gb and Zune 120gb. The Zune software works perfectly fine in Win10Pro and Home versions still in 2020. Sadly the only issue is the market place, although its not needed anyway. I purchase all my music online or rip cd's and share to my Zune. I then can dock my Zune to my entertainment center and Xbox One and have all my music, videos and pix I want to listen and watch!

Still rocking in december 2015!

Despite being discontinued, it's one of the best media players I ever used, with almost no bugs and some interesting features, like the taskbar option. Did you know Zune has an option to minimize to task bar, so that you can control your Zune without having it opened, you can open the main window, change the song, pause/play and favorite it? Smile

I've yet to see a better music app. And I've tried them all.
